Reduction linocut, 6"x6", edition of 16. A small linoleum print inspired by my Costa Rica birding trip. Hummingbird and Hibiscus flower. What do you call a group of hummingbirds?  Among the names I found: a bouquet of hummers, a charm, tune, glitter, or possibly my favorite, a shimmer of hummingbirds. Hummingbird is the American name. In other languages their names are more graceful: In Portuguese= Beija-Flor (Flower Kisser), in the Caribbean- "El Zunzun" ( ‘going fast’), and in many languages, including French and Spanish= Colibri

Each print is signed by the artist in pencil, edition of 16. Image size: 6" x 6." Paper size: approximately 8" x 8.75". *This piece will be shipped flat. *Matted/Framed option: Not available for shipping- only for pick-up. Museum quality 4-ply warm white beveled mat; black wood frame 12" x 12", regular glass.
